Bommanahalli in Bengaluru tops the list of the highest number of containment zone in the city. Total micro containment zones in Bengaluru stand at 60, with 15 being in Bommanahalli. East zone reports 13 zones, Dasarahalli and Mahadevapura have seven each, Yelahanka has six, RR Nagar, South and West have four zones each. BBMP Chief Commissioner Gaurav Gupta said, “The COVID-19 cases are currently on a decline in Bengaluru. A week ago, the cases were around 500, while in the last two days, the City is reporting less than 500 cases a day. As a result, hospital admissions have been reduced too. On average, around 30 patients are getting admitted to hospitals under the government quota in a day,” as reported by the Times of India.
