With the easing of COVID-induced lockdown restrictions, heavy was witnessed at several places in Bengaluru. JC Road and Town Hall saw many vehicles hit the road after COVID-19 restrictions were eased in Karnataka after over two months. Huge crowds were seen outside eateries and tea stalls on the day the curbs were eased. Traffic jams were seen not just on busy roads, but also in semi-residential and residential areas. BMTC, considered to be the lifeline of Bengaluru, said that it will resume operations with 2,000 buses on June 21 from 6 am to 7 pm on major routes.
